The People Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) has formally inducted the first of its many XAC Y-20 heavy-lift transport aircraft.
According to Chinese media, the AVIC Y-20 heavy-lift transport aircraft be delivered to listed Chinese military and civil buyers “very soon.”
The Y-20 conducted its maiden flight in January 2013, and with its latest prototype flying in February 2016, the aircraft seems to be entering Initial Operational Clearance (IOC) by the end of this year.
