Built on rigour. Driven by relevance.

Our Mission

The Quwa Defence News & Analysis Group provides rigorous analysis on modern defence systems and their tactical applications. Our work is specially focused on the acquisitions and activities of countries in Asia, Africa, and the Middle East — regions where the pace of military modernization outstrips the coverage available from legacy publishers.

We go beyond headlines to explain the procurement logic, doctrinal shifts, and industrial realities behind every major defence decision. Our readers — from government ministries to defence contractors — rely on Quwa because we verify first and publish second.

Our Vision

Knowledge is key to the encouragement of global peace. Our vision is to serve this idea by providing government and commercial clients with rigorous analytical services on defence and security matters.

We believe that transparent, well-sourced defence reporting — accessible to analysts, journalists, policymakers, and engaged citizens alike — leads to better-informed decisions and more accountable institutions. By illuminating what countries are buying and why, we contribute to the kind of informed discourse that underpins stability.

Quwa

/qu·wa/ — Arabic: قوة  |  Urdu: قوت

“Quwa” is Arabic for “force.” In Urdu, “Quwat” carries the same meaning. The word is commonly used in the titles of armed services branches across the Arab world — from Al-Quwwat al-Jawwiyya (Air Force) to Al-Quwwat al-Bahriyya (Navy). We chose this name because it reflects both the subject we cover and the regions we serve.
